Sometimes the deepest response is to come before God in prayer and trust Him with the places in our lives that need healing. Today, we continue our journey through Ephesians with a message titled “Kneeling Before God,” based on Ephesians 3:14–21. Focusing on verses 14–16, we see Paul kneel before the Father and pray that His people would be strengthened through the Holy Spirit. His prayer points us beyond our own ability and toward the strength that God provides. This week’s prayer practice will focus on healing and restoration, inviting us to bring before God the parts of our lives that feel weary or in need of renewal, and to trust in His ability to meet us there.

Sermon Questions:

1. Where have you stopped believing in the power of Jesus to bring change to your life, and what can you do about it this week?

2. Prayer Practice – Healing

Each day this week pray by name for one person you know who needs God’s healing and provision.

We hope to see lives transformed by a relationship with Jesus, and we strive to be a place where you experience and are able to express that transforming love of Christ.

It builds our faith to help give back a portion of what God has given us. If you would like to help further His work in La Jolla, San Diego and the world you can give online at LJPres.org/Donate. La Jolla Pres holds a CCLI License to live stream and archive all musical material.
