Are we meant to follow Jesus on our own? In Galatians 6, Paul reminds us that the Christian life was never intended to be lived in isolation. Instead, we are called to carry one another’s burdens, restore one another gently, and encourage each other to keep doing good. This Sunday, Pastor Paul Cunningham will preach a message titled “We Need Each Other.” Together we’ll explore how a faithful community supports, strengthens, and restores one another as we walk through life. Paul’s words challenge us to see faith not as a solo journey, but as a shared calling—where compassion, humility, and generosity help the whole community grow stronger.

Sermon Questions:

  1. Is there a place in your life where you are trying to go it alone and what can you do about that?
  2. Who has “held up your arms” in the past, and is there someone whom God might be calling you to help “hold up” this week?

We want to connect with you! Email Pastor Chad at chadf@ljpres.org to get plugged in, or you can find our website at ljpres.org/connect. We hope to see lives transformed by a relationship with Jesus, and we strive to be a place where you experience and are able to express that transforming love of Christ.

It builds our faith to help give back a portion of what God has given us. If you would like to help further His work in La Jolla, San Diego and the world you can give online at LJPres.org/Donate.
