The Benefits of Sacrifice - Sermon 6th July, 2025
This Sunday, we’re kicking off our Summer Combined Worship Services! Pastor Chad Fransen leads with a sermon titled “The Benefits of Sacrifice,” based on Mark 10:45. In this powerful verse, Jesus tells His disciples that He came not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. As we begin this season together, we’ll reflect on what it means to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, whose life was shaped by self-giving love. This passage challenges us to see sacrifice not as something to resist, but as a way to grow closer to God and to others. Through humility, generosity, and service, we discover the surprising blessings of living with others in mind.
