We want to see lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus. One way we witness that is by sharing God’s Story and equipping you to share His story as well.
We strive for sermons and teaching that is informative, applicable, inviting, and transformative.
Sunday morning messages, plus other Bible studies, classes, and special events. We are a welcoming, Bible based, Christian Church, and would love to worship with you.

Who Who Do You Say I Am? - Sermon 23rd February, 2025
"Who Do You Say I Am?", This Sunday, as part of our Gospel of Mark series, Sophie Nicles, our Director of High School Ministry, will lead us through Mark 8:27-37, where Jesus asks His disciples this important question. In a world filled with opinions about Jesus, His question challenges us to move past cultural assumptions and embrace discipleship. As we explore the tension between human expectations and God's call, we'll reflect on what it means to deny ourselves daily, take up our cross, and follow Him. Join us as we look at this powerful passage and discover how our answer to Jesus' question shapes our faith and lives!
Questions to consider:
1. What or who has shaped your answer to Jesus’ question, “Who do you say I am?”
2. How does Jesus’ guidance in this passage reform your understanding of following Jesus?
We want to connect with you! Email Pastor Chad at chadf@ljpres.org to get plugged in or you can find our website at ljpres.org/connect. We hope to see lives transformed by a relationship with Jesus, and we strive to be a place where you experience and are able to express that transforming love of Christ.
It builds our faith to help give back a portion of what God has given us. If you would like to help further His work in La Jolla, San Diego and the world you can give online at LJPres.org/Donate.
