Jesus-The Final Word - As we embark on the profound journey of Lent, La Jolla Presbyterian Church is proud to introduce our new sermon series, "Prophet, Priest, and King." In the offices and roles of the Old Testament—prophet, priest, and king—we see a foreshadowing that finds its fulfillment in the person of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 1:1-9 unveils Jesus as the culmination of God's communication to humanity, the one who speaks with ultimate authority and wisdom. As the true Prophet, Jesus is the final Word of God to us, revealing the heart and will of the Father in a way no one else has or ever will. Through "Jesus - The Final Word," we are invited to lean in and listen to what God has spoken through His Son—words of hope, salvation, and the call to a new life.
